Volunteer recruitment in the clinical trials is one of challenging task that has to be handled by the coordinator. You promote the ads through social media, search engines, mailers and pamphlets. Still, you see no volunteers or very less number of volunteers turning up to your clinical trials. Whys is it so? The poorly written ad copy is the reason behind this.
Before you draft an ad copy to invite volunteers to the clinical trial, it should be understood that the reader of the ad is not a medico. The clinical trial ad copy should be written in plain language to communicate the exact information to the reader. The technical jargon in the documentation may make the user switch off from the document or sign up the medical trial without understanding the exact information that is documented. This will lead to the problem later. The trial participant may show his unwillingness to join the medical trial when he completely understood after explanation of informed consent. All the effort to bring the volunteer on the board of the clinical trial will go in waste if the content of the ad copy of the clinical trial cannot communicate the right massage to the reader.
